Supreme leader chairs 2nd special meeting of Economic Commission

KABUL: The second special meeting of the Economic Commission was held, with the Supreme Leader Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlavi Hebatullah Akhundzada, on the chair, the office of the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs said in a statement today.
According to the statement, this special meeting reviewed the implementation of directives from the previous session and ordered that, based on a specific mechanism, the export of livestock from Afghanistan to other countries should commence within six months, followed by the continuation of previous implementations.
The Administrative Office was tasked with coordinating with other relevant departments to prepare a comprehensive procedure to expedite the processes for investors and traders in the respective offices.
This procedure will be sent to the Economic Commission and subsequently submitted for approval to the office of the Supreme Leader, said the statement.
It is noteworthy that in the first special meeting of the Economic Commission, it was directed that, in accordance with urban plans, a procedure should be prepared to facilitate the sale and distribution of Emirate land plots and the rental of buildings.
Based on this procedure, citizens of the country will complete the land registration process on private properties within 15 days and will receive approval for their maps within one month to commence construction work.
