KABUL:Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Foreign Minister, has expressed the Islamic Emirate’s stance on supporting security and stability in light of the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India.
In a recent interview with Al Jazeera, he stressed the importance of a peaceful resolution to the crisis between the two countries.
Muttaqi highlighted the Islamic Emirate’s neutrality, stating that Afghanistan does not wish to become a battlefield for global powers competition.
This statement comes amid heightened tensions following a recent incident in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which has severely strained relations between Pakistan and India, resulting in multiple military confrontations.
