287 Afghan prisoners released from Pakistan, returned home

KABUL: The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations has announced the release and return of 287 Afghan prisoners from Pakistani jails on the 1st and 2nd of the current month of the solar year.

According to information from the Spin Boldak and Torkham authorities, the individuals were detained in various regions of Pakistan and had been held in prisons for periods ranging from one day to ten days, despite having proper documentation.

After registration and receiving humanitarian assistance, the individuals have been transported back to their original homes.
