KABUL: The Ministry of Information and Culture said in a statement today that a two-day exhibition of paintings, calligraphy, handicrafts and books, have been launched at the National Gallery in Kabul.
According to the statement, more than 100 works of art by 18 painters and calligraphers and hundreds of book are on display at the exhibition.
The Baihaqi Book Publishing Department of the Ministry of Information and Culture and a number of booksellers also displayed their newly published books at the exhibition.
According to statement, a number of officials from the Ministry of Information and Culture, teachers, artists and writers attended the opening ceremony.
