KABUL: The Ministry of Interior has said that an individual has been rescued from kidnappers in the “Darqad” district of Takhar province.
According to the ministry’s statement, the person was rescued during operations in Darqad, and three suspects have been arrested in connection with the case.
The individual was reportedly abducted in the Dasht-e-Archi district of Kunduz, where the kidnappers demanded a ransom of $50,000 from his family.
The arrested individuals after investigation will be introduced to judicial organs for further investigation into their files.
