Iran’s Foreign Ministry: Response to Israeli aggression is a legal and legitimate right

KABUL: Iran’s Foreign Ministry has condemned the Israeli attack as a “clear act of aggression” and stated that responding to it is Tehran’s “legal and legitimate right.”
In a strongly worded statement released today, the ministry noted that Tehran and several other cities in Iran were targeted in the attack.
The Iranian government has called on the United Nations, its Security Council, member states, and regional Islamic governments to condemn the attack immediately and take swift action to halt this “dangerous adventure.”
The Foreign Ministry emphasized that such an attack could not occur without coordination and permission from the United States, holding Washington responsible for the consequences.
Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the Israeli attack was conducted without U.S. cooperation and warned Tehran to refrain from attacking American forces in the region.
Additionally, Israeli media have reported that Iran has launched 100 drones towards Israel. It remains unclear what targets these drones are aimed at and when they will reach Israeli territory.
