Trump rejects Israeli plan to assassinate Khamenei

KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump has rejected the Israeli plan to assassinate Iran’s religious leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, proposed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to CBS News, the issue arose between the two leaders following an Israeli attack on Iran last Friday.
While Trump has not publicly responded to the report, Netanyahu did not confirm or deny it in an interview with Fox News, stating only, “We do what is necessary, and the U.S. understands what is best for them.”
This comes amid ongoing retaliatory strikes between Israel and Iran since last Friday, with Iran launching significant attacks on Israel just last night.
