GHAZNI: At least three people have been martyred and 11 others injured in a traffic accident in Maidan Wardak province, the governor’s press office said in a statement today.
The incident happened on the outskirts of Gillan district and Band-e-Safeed area of the Kabul-Kandahar highway.
The first incident occurred when a vehicle turtled resulting in the martyrdom of one person and injuries of two others, said the statement.
The second incident occurred when a tricycle crashed with an oil tanker, resulting in the martyrdom of three people including the tricycle’s driver and injury of nine others, the statement said.
The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.
