U.S. continues efforts for nuclear agreement with Iran despite tensions

KABUL: U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has stated in an interview with Fox News that despite increasing tensions between Tehran and America’s close ally Israel, the U.S. government is still working towards reaching a nuclear agreement with Iran.

According to Reuters, he expressed optimism, saying, “We are very hopeful that this agreement will happen.”

On the other hand, amidst reports of potential U.S. strikes on Iran, a White House advisor has dismissed these reports, asserting that Washington has not conducted any attacks on Iran.
