China accuses Trump of igniting war between Iran and Israel

KABUL: Following recent statements by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the conflict between Iran and Israel, China has accused him of exacerbating the situation.
In a statement today, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Liu Jian, likened the U.S. President’s comments about the Iran-Israel conflict to “pouring gasoline on the fire.
Jian stated, “Pouring gasoline and igniting the fire, threatening and increasing pressure, does not help in reducing tensions.” He emphasized that such statements would only lead to an escalation of hostilities.
Trump called on residents of Tehran via his social media platform, Truth Social, last night to leave the city. He has recently stated that attacks on Iranian soil will continue until the government of Iran surrenders.
This comes despite U.S. officials consistently asserting their neutrality in the Iran-Israel conflict.
