KABUL: According to international media reports, amidst escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, the foreign ministers of France, Germany, and Britain are expected to meet with Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi.
The Guardian reported this morning that the meeting has not yet been officially confirmed by the Iranian government and is set to take place in Switzerland, focusing on the current conflict between Tehran and Tel Aviv.
Although the meeting with Dr. Abbas Araghchi is not finalized, if it occurs, it would mark the first diplomatic engagement during the ongoing seven-day war between Iran and the Israeli regime.
Earlier this week, Araghchi held telephone conversations with senior diplomatic officials from France, Germany, and Britain.
This comes as the Israeli regime continues its conflict with Iran, supported logistically by the United States, including the provision of fuel to Israeli fighter jets.
