KABUL: The provincial officials of Logar Education Department have announced that UNICEF has donated educational supplies worth 31 million Afghanis.
According to the officials, the assistance includes books, administrative supplies, teaching materials, markers, and colors. The distribution of these supplies has already begun in the central Logar province and several districts, targeting a total of 288 schools, benefiting 2,003 teachers and 51,300 students.
The Logar Education Department officials stated that this support from UNICEF will significantly alleviate the challenges faced by both teachers and students.
Meanwhile, some teachers from Logar schools expressed their gratitude to UNICEF for this assistance, but they also requested the construction of school buildings for certain schools in the province.
It is noteworthy that UNICEF has previously provided various forms of support to Afghanistan.
