Explosion leaves 13 soldiers dead and nearly 30 injured in Pakistan

KABUL: As a result of an explosion in Pakistan 13 soldiers were killed and 29 others injured, including civilians, media reported.
France Press citing Pakistani security officials reported today that a vehicle packed with explosives targeted a convoy of Pakistani soldiers in the Northern Waziristan area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, located in northwest Pakistan.
Unnamed police officials indicated that among the injured are 10 soldiers and 19 civilians.
The explosion was so powerful that it caused the roofs of two residential buildings to collapse, injuring six children.
The Pakistani government has not yet officially commented on the attack.
As of now, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the incident. Previously, the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has been known to operate against the state in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
