KIYV: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Ukraine is preparing “more unpleasant surprises” for its adversary, Russia.
He made the remarks in a video message on X on Friday, that pressure on the “aggressor” has not diminished, and that the ongoing pressure is “vital” at this stage.
He mentioned: “Ukraine’s communication with all partners continues to ensure that no day during the summer is wasted—days that could exert additional pressure on Russia.”
While Zelensky did not provide specific details about the upcoming surprises, Ukraine recently executed a surprising operation targeting dozens of Russian aircraft at four airfields in the country.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense has recently announced that its forces have captured four settlements in Ukrainian territory over the past week.
