Mawlavi Wasiq meets former head coach of Georgia’s cycling team in Kabul

KABUL: Nodar Bridze, a tourist and former head coach of the national cycling team of Georgia, during his visit to Kabul, met with Mawlavi Ahmadullah Wasiq, the head of the National Olympic, Physical Education, and Sports Authority of Afghanistan.
According to a statement from the National Olympic Committee on Sunday night, Bridze expressed that he has traveled to 20 countries, but his trip to Afghanistan has been the “sweetest memory” for him.
Wasiq mentioned that since the return of the Islamic Emirate, there have been significant advancements in sports in Afghanistan due to improved security.
He assured Bridze that the National Olympic Authority would provide all necessary facilities and invite him to participate in various sports programs.
Meanwhile, Bridze expressed gratitude for the invitation to join sports activities and hoped to take part in them.
Recently, he has been touring various tourist attractions in Afghanistan.
