Mass protest in Israel against ongoing war in Gaza

KABUL: Israeli media report that a nationwide protest has begun in Tel Aviv, involving approximately one million participants.

The Times of Israel stated today that the strike, initiated upon the request of families of Israeli captives, aims to protest the continuation of the war in Gaza and the lack of freedom for the captives.

Protesters are voicing their opposition to the Israeli regime’s policy of escalating the conflict in Gaza.

Planned activities for the protests include speeches, photo exhibits, and gatherings in front of the Kirya military headquarters at 2:00 PM.

Since the onset of Israel’s attack on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Israeli citizens have repeatedly taken to the streets to express their dissent.

However, this time, the protests are notably extensive and accompanied by a nationwide strike.
