Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi: Countries should prioritize development projects in Afghanistan over wars

KABUL: Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, stated that Afghanistan possesses abundant resources for investment in water, wind, gas, and other sectors, and seeks good relations with all countries based on mutual respect.

Speaking at the “International Conference on Stability and Progress of Electricity,” Hanafi emphasized that nations should focus on implementing development projects in Afghanistan rather than engaging in conflicts.

According to Radio Omid correspondent, Hanafi noted that after 50 years of war, the arrival of the Islamic Emirate has established comprehensive security across the country, and the cultivation and trafficking of narcotics have been completely eradicated.

He further stated that the Islamic Emirate does not allow anyone to use its territory against neighboring or other countries, asserting a desire for friendly relations rather than hostility with all nations.
