KABUL: Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, recently stated that Israel’s airstrike on Doha has destroyed hopes for the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas.
According to TRT, a state media outlet in Turkey, Al Thani made these remarks on Wednesday evening indicating that a response to Israel’s action is forthcoming and is currently under consideration and consultation.
The Qatari official expressed his outrage, stating, “We have been betrayed; I have no words to convey my intense anger at such an act. This is ‘state terrorism.'”
Previously, Qatar had announced that senior Hamas officials were in Doha for discussions and consultations regarding a new proposal from U.S. President Donald Trump when they became the target of the attack.
Doha claims that Tel Aviv used radar-invisible weapons in the assault.
