KABUL: Direct negotiations between the Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas and Israel regarding a ceasefire agreement for Gaza, will take place today in Egypt.

Jared Kushner, son-in-law of U.S. President Trump, and special envoy Seth Wexler will represent Washington in the talks.
The office of the Israeli Prime Minister has confirmed that their delegation will arrive in Sharm El Sheikh today.
The Hamas delegation, led by Khalil al-Hayya, has already arrived in Egypt.
