Trump considering attack on Cocaine Production facilities in Venezuela; U.S. Warship headed to the Caribbean

KABUL: President Donald Trump is contemplating plans to attack cocaine production facilities within Venezuela, CNN reported this morning.

In the meantime, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has recently ordered the deployment of the most advanced aircraft carrier, USS Gerald R. Ford, along with a group of ships and combat aircraft, to the Caribbean region near Venezuela.

American sources have noted that there are plans under consideration, and the President is still open to diplomatic options.

Another American official familiar with Trump’s discussions about Venezuela mentioned that proposals have been presented to him.

While the timing and nature of a potential U.S. attack on Venezuela remain unclear, military tensions between the two countries are increasingly escalating.

Although U.S. airstrikes on boats allegedly transporting drugs from Venezuela have recently increased, Trump’s rhetoric regarding a ground attack on the country has reached unprecedented levels.

Some political and military analysts interpret the recent tensions between the U.S. and Venezuela as Washington’s pretext for ending Nicolás Maduro’s government.
