KABUL: The Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas has announced that it returned the bodies of two individuals to Israel, who were killed during the conflict in Gaza.
A statement released by the office of the Israeli Prime Minister indicated that the bodies were handed over to Israeli authorities with the assistance of the International Red Cross, and their identities will be clarified after the transfer.
According to reports, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement, the Hamas movement has released all Israeli prisoners in exchange for nearly 2,000 Palestinian detainees.
This action comes at a time when Israeli air and ground assaults continue in Gaza.
