Reality or excuse-making: Trump warns Christianity faces existential threat in Nigeria

KABUL: Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has once again issued a stern warning that “Christianity in Nigeria faces an existential threat.”

He made the remarks during a televised message this morning,

Trump emphasized that his country cannot remain indifferent while such “atrocities” are occurring in Nigeria and other countries.

He stated, “We are ready, willing, and able to save our large Christian population around the world.”

This is the second time in less than a week that Trump has reacted to the killings of Christians in Nigeria.

Previously, he directed the U.S. Department of Defense to consider potential military action in Nigeria.

Following Trump’s directive, the President of Nigeria expressed his willingness to meet and discuss the reasons and circumstances surrounding the killings of Christians in his country, as well as Trump’s concerns.
