KABUL: Unknown gunmen attacked the vehicle of a tribal leader, in the Khalkabad tehsil of Qalat district, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including the leader, Shakir Saadullah Lango.
According to local police, the attack occurred on Saturday, injuring several others who were subsequently transported to a nearby hospital.
Officials report that the attackers fled the scene, and police have initiated a search operation to apprehend them.
This incident comes amid a rise in armed attacks in Pakistan due to increasing insecurity, which has also impacted the morale of the military.
