KABUL: Randeep Jaiswal, spokesperson for the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, have announced that the country has provided 73 tons of essential humanitarian medicines to Afghanistan.
According to him, the shipment includes “life-saving medicines and necessary vaccines” that have been transported to Kabul. He emphasized that this assistance aims to bolster healthcare efforts in Afghanistan and address urgent medical needs.
The spokesperson also reiterated India’s commitment to sustainable support for the people of Afghanistan.
Previously, Afghanistan’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, during a visit to India, called for increased investment in the pharmaceutical sector.
During this visit, contracts worth $100 million were signed between Afghan and Indian traders.
