KABUL: As fighting continues in Sudan, an attack on a hospital and a school has left 114 people dead, including 63 children.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the World Health Organization’s Director-General, condemned the attack, calling it a “severe, brutal, and inhumane act.”
Local authorities attribute the blame to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
Since 2023, clashes between government forces and local armed groups have persisted in the country.
The United Nations has reported that over 13,000 people have been killed as a result of these conflicts, raising significant concerns about the deteriorating humanitarian situation.
