KABUL: The Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, has dismissed rumors that dual-nationality Afghan citizens must obtain a visa on their Afghan passport alongside their foreign passport.
In a statement released this morning, Takal stated: “Afghan citizens wishing to travel to Afghanistan on their foreign passports do not need to obtain a visa, provided they show their Afghan identity.” He emphasized that these individuals can travel to Afghanistan without a visa.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has repeatedly committed to facilitating the processes for Afghan citizens living abroad.
