KABUL: American media outlets have reported, citing senior officials, that following an attack by the Israeli regime and the killing of Raed Saad, a senior member of Hamas, the regime has been warned.
Axios news website reported on Monday night, that the White House described the Israeli regime’s attack as a violation of the ceasefire and sent a stern and warning message to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The message stated: “If you want to damage your credibility and show that you do not adhere to agreements, you are free to do so; however, we will not allow you to undermine President Trump’s credibility, who brokered the Gaza agreement.”
Meanwhile, the source indicated that Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, Steve Witkoff, the special representative of Trump for Middle Eastern affairs, and Jared Kushner, his advisor, have expressed displeasure with Netanyahu.
The White House’s dissatisfaction regarding the violation of the ceasefire comes as Hamas has also stated that it reserves the right to retaliate for the killing of Mr. Saad.
