U.S. bans entry for citizens of five other countries, including Syria

KABUL: The U.S. government, led by President Donald Trump, has announced a ban on the entry of citizens from five additional countries.
The Associated Press reported today that citizens from Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, South Sudan, and Syria are now prohibited from entering the United States.
Additionally, the entry of Palestinians holding documents issued by the Palestinian Authority has also been restricted.
This decision appears to be part of the Trump administration’s implementation of stricter immigration conditions in the U.S. Critics argue that the government’s actions unfairly deny citizens of certain countries the opportunity to travel to the U.S.
Earlier this year, in June, the Trump administration also banned the entry of citizens from Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.
Furthermore, the administration has imposed severe restrictions on the entry of citizens from Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.
