Over 4,000 Afghan migrants forcefully deported from Pakistan in one day

KABUL: As many as 4,368 Afghan migrants were forcefully deported from Pakistan in a single day, the Commission for Addressing Refugees Issues said in a statement today.

According to the statement, the migrants were returned to Afghanistan via the Torkham crossing in Nangarhar province, the Spin Boldak crossing in Kandahar province, and the Bahramcha crossing in Helmand province on Wednesday.

2,832 individuals were returned through Torkham, 1,003 through Spin Boldak, and 483 through Bahramcha, said the statement.

The process of addressing the needs of deported Afghan migrants from Pakistan continues daily in the aforementioned provinces by the Afghan Commission for Addressing Refugees Issues.
