KABUL: Western media outlets have reported that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Israeli occupying regime, is developing a strategy to persuade Donald Trump, the President of the United States, to conduct a renewed attack on Iran.
Reuters, citing NBC News, reported on Saturday night, that Netanyahu intends to explain to Trump that any expansion of Iran’s ballistic missile program poses a serious threat to Israel.
NBC News suggests that Netanyahu may emphasize this point to justify a renewed attack on Iran.
The report also noted that officials within the Israeli regime are concerned that Iran is reconstructing its nuclear enrichment facilities that were targeted in a bombing by the U.S. earlier this year.
Previously, in the early months of this solar year, a 12-day conflict erupted between Tehran and Tel Aviv following an Israeli attack on Iran.
Iranian officials have repeatedly warned that any attack on their country would be met with a strong response from Tehran.
