North Korea: We will continue missile development over the next five years

KABUL: North Korea has stated that the development of missiles and weapons will continue uninterrupted over the next five years.

According to the state news agency KCNA, North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un visited several major weapons companies in the capital, Pyongyang.

The report indicates that Kim signed a draft on modernizing the weapons industry, emphasizing that the production of missiles and other weapons is vital to preventing war and strengthening national defense.

He stated, “The production of missiles and weapons forms the foundation of our country’s defensive strength and plays an important role in preventing war.”

Additionally, reports from Thursday suggest that Kim Jong-Un also visited the submarine construction site alongside his daughter, who is mentioned as a potential successor.
