KABUL: Vladimir Padrino, the Defense Minister of Venezuela, has stated that the military forces of the country will resist foreign attacks and will ultimately achieve victory.
He made the remarks today, during a televised speech.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump announced just moments before this speech that Nicolás Maduro, the President of Venezuela, and his wife had been captured by American forces and transferred from Caracas.
However, in his address, the Defense Minister did not mention the U.S. military attack on Caracas or the arrest of President Maduro and his wife.
It is noteworthy that earlier today, the U.S. conducted airstrikes using aircraft and missiles against the capital of Venezuela, Caracas.
