Afghan, Indian Ambassadors in Kyrgyzstan emphasize expanding cooperation

KABUL: Mawlavi Abdul Shakur Haqqani, the Afghan Ambassador to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, met with his Indian counterpart, Birender Singh, the Afghan embassy said in a statement.

According to the statement, the two ambassadors discussed enhancing cooperation between Afghanistan and India in political, economic, and commercial sectors.

Additionally, they addressed various issues, including visa facilitation, health, tourism, investment, and humanitarian collaboration.

The statement highlighted that both sides emphasized strengthening and expanding cooperation in the above-mentioned areas between Kabul and New Delhi.

This comes as Afghanistan-India relations in various political, economic, commercial, and humanitarian dimensions seen notable improvement over the past four months.
