KABUL: Iran has launched a new wave of missile and drone attacks targeting Doha, Bahrain, and Dubai, International media reported.
According to Agence France-Presse (AFP) on Monday, the attacks struck multiple locations across the region.
AFP also reported, citing its correspondent, that air defense systems intercepted at least two drones over the city of Erbil in Iraq.
Some reports indicate that the U.S. Consulate in Erbil may have been targeted by unmanned aerial vehicles. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding casualties or damage resulting from the missile and drone strikes on Doha, Bahrain, or Dubai.
The developments come amid intense fighting between Iran, the United States, and Israel across the region.
