Oman ready to help evacuate foreign nationals from the Persian Gulf

KABUL: Following the escalation of conflict between Iran, the United States, and Israel, Oman’s Foreign Minister, Badr Al-Busaidi, announced that his country is prepared to assist in the evacuation of citizens from all countries in the Persian Gulf.

Al-Busaidi said in a post on his X today, emphasizing Muscat’s readiness to coordinate with governments and international airlines to organize flights for people wishing to return home from the Gulf.

The minister stressed that there will be no exceptions and that holders of all types of passports are eligible for assistance. “All citizens have a human right to safety and security. People are important. Let us stop the war now,” Al-Busaidi said in his statement.

This comes as the intensifying attacks in the region have prompted foreign nationals to leave the Middle East in increasing numbers over the past several days.
