KABUL: Zamir Kablov, the special representative of Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, regarding Afghanistan, arrived in Kabul on an official visit.
Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takel, head of information and public relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in a statement today that the Russian special representative for Afghanistan is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Afghan Foreign Minister.
According to Mr. Takel, the Russian special envoy will discuss and exchange views with the Afghan foreign minister and other Afghan officials on political, economic, and some other issues.
It is worth noting that recently, Afghanistan and Russia have signed multiple cooperation agreements, in different areas, and relations between the two countries have reached a stage of practical cooperation.
