Trump claims Iran would have destroyed Israel, Middle East, and Europe if it acquired Nuclear weapons

KABUL: Donald Trump, President of the United States, has claimed that Iran would have destroyed Israel, the Middle East, and the European Union if it had obtained nuclear weapons.

Trump made the remarks during a political rally on Friday night in The Villages, Florida. He said Iran is not offering the type of agreement Washington is seeking regarding its nuclear program and vowed that the issue would be resolved “properly.”

“You cannot allow Iran to have nuclear weapons,” Trump said, adding that Tehran would quickly use such weapons against Israel, across the Middle East, and in Europe, warning that the United States could be next.

He also stressed that he would not step back from the issue, cautioning against a temporary solution that could allow the problem to resurface within a few years.

Trump’s comments come as Tehran has reportedly submitted a revised proposal regarding a potential agreement with Washington to Pakistani officials.
