Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf: Regional balance in Strait of Hormuz is changing

KABUL: Iran’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said that the “new balance” regarding the Strait of Hormuz is in the process of solidifying, and that the situation in the region is changing.

He claimed on his X account that the U.S. and its allies’ ceasefire violations and blockade measures have put at risk the safety of navigation and the security of energy transit.

Ghalibaf added that the current situation is no longer bearable for the United States, but according to him Iran has still not initiated its own actions.

These remarks come at a time when the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced the start of a “Freedom project” to secure the safe movement of ships in international waters.
