Trump returns to U.S. after China visit, says Iran “must not obtain nuclear weapons”

KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump has returned to the United States following a three-day visit to China.

Fox News reported, alongside footage from the event, that Trump waved to reporters and supporters and made his signature victory gesture upon arriving Friday evening at Joint Base Andrews.

Trump said he had reached an understanding with Chinese President Xi Jinping that Iran “must not obtain nuclear weapons.”

The U.S. president also stressed that reopening the Strait of Hormuz is important for global trade and energy transportation.
