KABUL: Vladimir Putin is set to travel to China this week for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
According to China’s Foreign Ministry, the visit will take place on May 19 and 20.
The ministry did not provide further details about the agenda or the topics expected to be discussed between the two leaders. However, political, economic, and international cooperation are expected to be among the key issues on the table.
Putin’s trip comes shortly after Donald Trump concluded a three-day visit to Beijing, where he also held talks with Xi on a range of global and bilateral matters.
