Deadly shooting in Mexico leaves 10 dead, including women and children

KABUL: At least 10 people, including women and children, were killed in a deadly shooting in central-eastern Mexico, international media reported Monday.
According to Sky News on Monday, the attack took place in Puebla state, where armed assailants reportedly opened fire inside a residential house.
Local authorities said the victims included one child, three women, and six men.
The Puebla State Prosecutor’s Office announced that a comprehensive investigation into the deadly incident has been launched.
No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the shooting, and the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
Reports said the incident marks the third mysterious mass shooting in Mexico since the beginning of 2026. Two other deadly shootings, including one in Puebla state, were reported in February this year.
