Qatar, Pakistan intensify efforts to broker Iran-U.S. agreement

KABUL: Qatar and Pakistan have stepped up diplomatic efforts aimed at facilitating a potential agreement between Iran and the United States, according to reports by Reuters.
The report said a senior Qatari delegation traveled to Tehran in coordination with Washington to help resolve remaining disputes and push negotiations toward a final stage.
Meanwhile, Asim Munir also visited Tehran to hold talks with Iranian officials aimed at strengthening understanding and maintaining a ceasefire between the sides.
Separately, Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi said during a phone call with António Guterres that what he described as Washington’s “excessive demands” remain major obstacles to reaching a possible agreement.
