KABUL: The World Health Organization has reported that the number of confirmed Ebola cases in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has reached 321, with an additional 116 suspected cases under investigation.
According to health officials, 48 people have died from the disease so far, while six patients have recovered following treatment.
Ebola is a highly infectious and potentially fatal viral disease that spreads through direct contact with the bodily fluids of infected individuals.
The Democratic Republic of the Congo has faced multiple Ebola outbreaks in recent years, and health authorities continue efforts to contain the disease through surveillance, treatment programs, and public awareness campaigns.
