KABUL: Israeli security officials say an armed attacker fired from inside a car at people in three separate locations near the country’s occupied western border, killing one person and injuring five others.
Reuters, citing the police, reported that the attacker was identified following a short pursuit and that the weapon and vehicle used in the attack were seized.
Authorities also said that they detained another suspect after he made statements linking him to the attack.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility, but security measures in the area have been tightened.
