KABUL: Tech entrepreneur and SpaceX owner Elon Musk is reportedly on the verge of becoming the world’s first trillionaire.
According to reports, Musk was previously the world’s richest person with an estimated net worth of around $696 billion. However, the value of his 42 percent stake in SpaceX could push his total wealth beyond the $1 trillion mark.
Reports indicate that SpaceX plans to sell 555.6 million shares at $135 per share, placing the estimated value of Musk’s holdings in the company between $743 billion and $866.5 billion.
If the company’s market performance continues as expected, Musk could become the first individual in history to accumulate a net worth exceeding $1 trillion.
Musk also leads Tesla and remains one of the most influential figures in the global technology and space industries.
