KABUL: The ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to China, Mawlavi Bilal Karimi, has emphasized the importance of expanding trade, investment, and regional connectivity with China and neighboring countries while attending the 7th China–South Asia Cooperation Forum.
In his remarks, Karimi said that Afghanistan’s security, stability, and economy-focused policies have created a favorable environment for investment, adding that the current conditions could help strengthen joint economic cooperation across the region.
The Afghan envoy described Afghanistan as a key hub for regional connectivity and expressed hope that economic relations and cooperative initiatives with China and other regional countries would continue to expand.
His comments come as Afghanistan seeks to deepen regional economic engagement, attract foreign investment, and enhance its role in trade and transit corridors linking South and Central Asia.
