KABUL: Masoud Pezeshkian has welcomed a recent message from Iran’s senior leadership, describing it as a clear and decisive roadmap for ending the conflict and guiding the negotiation process.
In a statement, Pezeshkian said the message from Mojtaba Khamenei clearly outlines the responsibilities of state institutions in safeguarding Iran’s national interests, dignity, and sovereignty, while providing a framework for future negotiations.
The Iranian president thanked the country’s leadership for its guidance and support, saying that its backing of the negotiating team and relevant officials serves as a source of confidence and motivation.
Pezeshkian stressed that all decision-makers and government officials remain committed to implementing the leadership’s directives and that Iran’s national interests will remain the guiding principle in all decisions and negotiations.
He added that protecting the rights, dignity, and sovereignty of the Iranian people is a non-negotiable red line, and that the negotiating team will work to safeguard the country’s interests throughout the talks.
