KABUL: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Sayed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has once again traveled to Iran, where he is expected to hold meetings with Iranian officials, Iranian media reported.
The identities of the Iranian officials he will meet have not yet been disclosed, but it has been said that his visit’s purpose is to follow up on the ongoing Tehran–Washington negotiation process.
Naqvi has visited Iran several times since Pakistan began its reported mediation efforts between Iran and the United States, holding talks with various Iranian officials.
The visit comes as U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi are reportedly traveling to Switzerland for negotiations.
