KABUL: The country’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce says 25 cooperation agreements have been signed between the private sectors of Afghanistan and Kazakhstan following a joint exhibition of Afghan and Kazakh products and a series of bilateral business meetings.
According to the ministry, the agreements cover the import and export of pharmaceuticals, vegetables, fresh and dried fruits, flour, wheat, and edible oils, as well as cooperation in the banking sector.
Officials said the deals are expected to strengthen trade relations between the two countries and create new opportunities for investment and broader economic cooperation.
Kazakhstan is considered one of Afghanistan’s key economic partners, and both countries have increased efforts in recent years to expand bilateral trade and commercial ties.
