KABUL: A recent report by a United Nations investigative commission says that Israel continues to deliberately target Palestinian children, describing such actions as conduct that may constitute genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
According to the report, children account for approximately 30 percent of the casualties since the war in Gaza began in October 2023.
The UN commission warned that attacks on neonatal care centers and maternity hospitals have placed the health and well-being of future generations of Palestinians at serious risk.
The report further states that the attacks have contributed to an increase in miscarriages, higher rates of congenital birth defects, and long-term health complications affecting both mothers and children.
